Aaron Tamayose is a Registered Psychologist (#5141) and Canadian Certified Counsellor working in a Clinical and Forensic setting in Calgary, Alberta. Aaron has worked extensively with individuals with complex mental health and disability related issues for the past thirteen years. Aaron has specific training in CPT for PTSD and is experienced in first responder mental health needs. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Psychology, Master of Counselling Psychology and Post-Graduate Certificate in Disability Learning. Aaron is known for his person-centered therapy approach and is focused on working with his clients on utilizing their strengths in achieving personal success and mental well-being. Aaron enjoys travel, cooking, going to the gym, fishing, golfing, playing baseball and spending time with friends and family. Aaron is a two time University of Lethbridge Hall of Honour inductee: Presidents Award for Service Excellence (2016), Young Alumnus of the Year (2019).

Aaron is a contracted psychological services provider to WCB Alberta, assisting workers get back to work as soon as possible after injury or workplace performance difficulties.
Aaron Tamayose currently works as a psychologist at a publicly funded agency providing counselling and therapy supports to individuals mandated for treatment. Aaron is pleased to offer forensic counselling services for individuals who do not want to attend publicly funded treatment. Aaron's forensic approach is in-line with the Good Lives Model of criminal offender treatment. Aaron welcomes low-risk mandated clients for on-going treatment.
